Organic Eggs
Barrington Park organic eggs are special, with thick brown shells, superior flavour and rich, yellow yolks. Our chickens are free to range in herb-rich organic pasture, enjoying everything a healthy hen requires.
Our flock of organic, free range hens roam organic pasture all day, every day, and come and go at will in to their state-of-the-art houses.
Inside they are able to roost at night with dedicated scratch areas and boxes; outside they peck at grass, clover and bugs. The flock is made up of Lohman Brown hens and is divided into seven groups, each with its own house situated in a large field. They are fed a special mixture of 100% organic cereals and proteins.
David, the Poultry Manager, is responsible for the hens’ welfare. He has been looking after chickens since he was 11 years old and is dedicated to ensuring the highest welfare standards.
Each day eggs are collected from the hen houses and (carefully) taken to our packing shed where they are sorted by size and put into boxes by Steph. From the packing shed they are either taken to one of our two ‘Egg Sheds’ for selling to local customers, or to the van for our wholesale deliveries. All eggs are sold within two days of being laid.
Wholesale customers
As well as selling organic eggs direct to local people, Yusuf, responsible for customer service and distribution, delivers wholesale orders right across the South of England each week:
Monday - Cotswolds
Tuesday - Cheltenham, Bristol, Bath, Swindon
Wednesday - Cotswolds
Thursday - London
Our minimum order for wholesale purchasers is 15 dozen eggs (one box) per week. We currently sell to restaurants, hotels, delis, butchers, pubs, box schemes and farm shops.

Pasteurised Liquid Egg
For those in the catering and bakery sectors, we also supply Soil Association Certified Organic Pasteurised Liquid Egg. This is available, fresh or frozen, in 10kg, 20kg and 500kg containers and is delivered in refrigerated vehicles across the UK. Please contact us for further information.
Animal welfare
Our hens enjoy the highest standards of welfare as set by the Soil Association and Freedom Foods, well above ‘free range egg’ production levels.
